Ann C. Taylor

Ann C. Taylor

Ann Crovatt Taylor, 92, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Hospice House.  She was born September 22, 1931, in Savannah, GA to the late Lawrence Worth Crovatt and Ann Lorraine McCall Crovatt.  Mrs. Taylor was a 1949 graduate of Savannah High School, and a homemaker.  She was an Honorary Life Member of P.T.A., and served on the Chatham Council P.T.A. She was a member and one of four founders of the Bonaventure Historical Society and was a member of the Candler Hospital Auxiliary for over 20 years.  Since Junior High School she was a member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church. 

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy T. Bucy (Gary), Judy T. Boykin (John) and two sons, Thomas Allan Taylor, Jr. (Cindy), and Stephen Lawrence Taylor (Tonya).  She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Stephanie Bucy, Christopher Taylor, Johnathan Boykin, Jennifer Boykin, Caitlin Griesbach, Julie Huffstetler, and Carson Taylor, as well as three great-grandchildren. 

She was extremely proud of all her children and grandchildren.  She would tell them, “Love each other Always, regardless, Always!

The family would like to thank Dr. Masroor and Dr. Ahmed and their office staff for the many years of compassionate care.  Also, the nursing staff of Candler E.D., P.C.U., and Subacute who were always kind and thoughtful while delivering the standard of care St. Joseph’s/Candler is known for. 

A special thank you to the caregivers of Heavenly Hands.  The love and attention provided by Debra, Yolonda, Ladalla, Marciel, Delphine, Vaness, Emily, and Yvette will never be forgotten.

And finally, the staff of Hospice Savannah where a blessing during our mother’s final days.

The Funeral Service to honor and celebrate her long and full life will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 6, 2024, at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

The burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family request remembrances be made to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
